Neue Animationen
Es tut sich bei mir wieder etwas im Animationsbereich. Weil ich native 3D-Umsetzungen von Werbefiguren nicht gerade prickelnd finde (…keimfrei, synthetisch und mit künstlich aussehenden Bewegungsabläufen) – habe ich mich, als passionierter Zeichner, mit Hybrid-Lösungen beschäftigt. Im Klartext: Illustration plus 2D-Animation plus Sprite-Technik. Da kann man inzwischen so tolle Ergebnisse liefern, dass die Clips flüssig und supergut aussehen. Das hat natürlich auch den riesigen Vorteil, dass sich die Animationen problemlos via JS auf Websites und Apps (auch für Spiele) betreiben lassen. Pänomenal!
Die Präsentations-Proben der geplanten Aktionsfigur zu einer neuen Kampagne, ein animierter Papagei, sind wohl so gut rübergekommen, dass wir damit in die Realisation gehen („Der Vogel wird fliegen!“).

I'm doing something in the field of animations again. Since I don't really like native 3D realisations of advertising figures (...germ-free, synthetic and with artificial-looking movements) - as a passionate draughtsman, I have been working on hybrid solutions. In plain language: illustration plus 2D animation plus sprite techniques. Meanwhile, you can deliver such great results that the clips look fluid and super good. This of course also has the huge advantage that the animations can be easily operated via JS on websites and apps (also in games). Tremendous!
The presentation rehearsals of the planned action figure for a new campaign, an animated parrot, came across so well that we are going into realisation with it ("The bird will fly!").

Most of the cats presented here certainly don’t let you say that twice: predatory cats are curious … and unfortunately also mostly hungry. Therefore, they’d make short work of most of us.
Humphrey Bogart’s line and the movie CASABLANCA are surely only known by the older ones among us. Nevertheless: the phrase shaped whole generations. Therefore, you will still hear this macho remark here and there today (if anyone still dares). Bogart is the patron of this book. Also because his colleague and wife at the time – the wonderfully pretty Lauren Bacall (the one with the cat’s eyes) – could easily join the book here.
SpeedDating Animals is, so to speak, the pizza version of nonfiction. Here you take away tons of knowledge in a pleasant way – without being bludgeoned by lots of info right away! The book – and the whole series – has the intention to convey complex topics in a pleasant way. The beginning is set by the cats, my personal favorite animals.
